Allison R. Halpin is currently a student at Rowan University, studying Writing Arts. She believes in the collaboration of writing: with other people, with the world and with everything that people may encounter in their lives. Writing as a passion is about using one’s interests and knowledge about the world and weaving something brand new into the world. Creating something new is one of the most purely human things a person can do.
She has experience in genre fiction and creative nonfiction. One of her biggest personal accomplishments is creating a supportive creative community for writing with her peers.
In the future, she hopes to expand her horizons to include literary fiction and to work more on her poetry skills. She is currently working on a novel that she hopes to get published in the summer.
